Da Kind Soups Implements Mercury StoreCard™ for an Enhanced Mobile Customer Experience
Da Kind Soups, a successful restaurant in Evergreen, Colo. specializing in homemade soups, has been offering customers exceptional food and a superb customer experience for seven years.
Owners Ariane Speck and her husband Chef Justin have been in the restaurant business for more than 25 years. They are proud of their reputation for quality in the industry and the high level of customer service they deliver in a fast, casual restaurant setting.
“The restaurant industry has a unique set of frustrations,” said Ariane Speck, owner of Da Kind Soups. “The cost of credit card processing is passed along to the business owner. It is important for us to manage our finances and that the accurate financial deposits for our business are ready to go.”
Da Kind Soups has used Vantiv Integrated Payments® since the launch of the restaurant several years ago because its technology could integrate seamlessly with the point of sale system implemented by Da Kind Soups.
“I really wanted to be able to offer a gift and loyalty program and I knew that Vantiv Integrated Payments had the best offerings on the market. All of our customers are actively using their mobile phones, and we wanted to be able to reach them with our brand on their smartphones and tablets.” said Speck. “I spent a lot of time researching payment processing systems and Vantiv Integrated Payments was a one-stop shop for our needs.”
Da Kind Soups is now widely launching the Mercury StoreCard™ technology for its customers. The goal is to increase mobile consumer engagement with the brand and ultimately improve the bottom line. From the time that the Specks opened Da Kind Soups, they have been interested in implementing a sophisticated loyalty program. Customers have been asking for this for a long time and Da Kind Soups did not want to launch any program half-heartedly.
“Mercury StoreCard will be available to all of our customers. I wanted a mobile loyalty program that is user-friendly and updates balances in real-time. It’s important to me that every time a customer makes a purchase they will be receiving loyalty points,” said Speck.
Consumers can use the Mercury StoreCard as a gift card or a reloadable stored-value card to earn cash back loyalty rewards on every StoreCard purchase. The Mercury StoreCard can also be converted into a digital gift card via the Apple® Passbook® or Android™ M PassMarket™ apps, allowing consumers to pay for purchases with either their physical card or smartphones, creating mobile payment convenience. Consumers can also use their smartphones to view their Mercury StoreCard’s balances, manually or automatically reload their cards, send custom-printed gift cards to their family and friends. “We are very excited to see how Mercury StoreCard can enhance the customer experience and help to support our small business.
