Now you can have all of the basics delivered right to your mailbox, on schedule, without missing a beat. Companies like BirchboxTM have also introduced us to curated, monthly sample boxes and an e-shop to purchase full-sized products.

Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games (MMORPGs)

MMORPGs are online games featuring large user groups that come together in virtual worlds. These games exist exclusively online where there are no time constraints. Most MMORPGs allow each player to customize an avatar specific to them, present a series of tasks to complete, and unveil items that can be acquired throughout.1 These games can use free, freemium, or pay-to-play pricing models and generated global revenue of 14.9 billion U.S. dollars in 2013.2

These are just some innovative business models fueled by the internet. What can we expect in the future? Only time will tell.
