RSPA Honors Mercury Payment Systems® with Top Awards

Integrated payment processor, Mercury Payment Systems® won the Vendor of Excellence Gold Medallion as well as the top Vendor of Excellence Award (Gold) in the payment processing category at RSPA’s 2010 recognition awards banquet held in Las Vegas, NV on July 27, 2010. Mercury received the best overall score across six vendor categories (hardware manufacturer, software application developer, technology distributor, payment processor, customer/reseller support, and consumables/supplies provider).

This is the first time in the 30 years the awards have existed that a payment processor has received the coveted Gold Medallion, according to Nicole Taylor, RSPA’s director of marketing and corporate communications. Awards are given to the best vendors in the industry based on Retail Solutions Providers Association (RSPA) member votes (one per member company). This is the second year in a row that Mercury won the top award for payment processing vendors.
