Mercury Wins 2012 Technology Company of the Year at the Colorado Technology Association’s Apex Awards

Durango, CO – October 26, 2012 – Mercury®, a leading provider of payment processing and revenue generation solutions, has been named Colorado’s Technology Company of the Year by the Colorado Technology Association (CTA). This honor is part of the CTA’s prestigious Apex Awards, which celebrate Colorado’s technology leaders and innovators.

Presented at the annual Apex Awards Ceremony in Denver, on October 24, the Technology Company of the Year award recognizes the Colorado-based company whose overall performance sets it apart as a leader in its market segment through the creation of innovative products, profitability and strong commitment to the community. Mercury was chosen based on the company’s overall performance and leadership in product development, financial responsibility/ strength and community involvement.

Since the Apex Award’s inception in 2000, the competition has grown to include not only Technology Company of the Year, but also Technology Project of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Community Connector of the Year, and Teacher of the Year, as well as the Bob Newman Lifetime Achievement award. This year’s Awards were presented in front of a sold-out crowd of over 800 attendees.
